Jazz's Jaren Jackson: Likely done for season
Jackson was diagnosed with a localized PVNS growth in his left knee and is expected to miss the remainder of the season, Chris Haynes of NBA TV reports.
This is tough news for Utah's newest addition. Jackson is likely to undergo further evaluation, but fantasy managers should be prepared for the worst. Jackson had a great start to his Jazz career, posting averages of 22.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 three-pointers through two games. With Jackson sidelined, the Jazz are likely to lean more on Kyle Filipowski, Cody Williams, Kevin Love, John Konchar and Brice Sensabaugh.

Jazz's Jaren Jackson: Paces scoring effort
Jackson chipped in 23 points (8-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT), four rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 22 minutes during Wednesday's 121-93 victory over the Kings.
Jackson has now put up 20-plus points in each of his first three matchups as a member of the Jazz, as he propelled the team to a second straight victory Wednesday evening. The 26-year-old actually saw his minutes dip given the blowout, but he still managed to lead Utah in scoring and recorded at least one steal and one block for the first time in four games this month.

Jazz's Jaren Jackson: Adds 22 points in win
Jackson finished Monday's 115-111 victory over the Heat with 22 points (7-19 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 6-7 FT), five rebounds, three assists and two steals over 25 minutes.
Jackson scored 22 points for a second straight game, though he wasn't as efficient as in his Utah debut Saturday. His production in the steals column was an added bonus. This was an impressive showing from the 26-year-old considering he didn't sniff the court during the fourth quarter, as Utah elected to give its bench players a chance to secure the victory.

Jazz's Jaren Jackson: Scores 22 points in Jazz debut
Jackson closed Saturday's 120-117 loss to Orlando with 22 points (9-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists and three steals over 25 minutes.
Jackson appeared for the first time as a member of the Jazz, finishing with 22 points in 25 minutes. It was certainly an encouraging start for Jackson, with the only worry being whether or not he is limited down the stretch. As long as he remains on the court, Jackson should continue to flirt with top 40 value, not unlike what he has been able to do thus far this season.

Jazz's Jaren Jackson: In line for Jazz debut Saturday
Jackson (recently traded) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Saturday's game against the Magic.
Jackson was the centerpiece of a trade package sent by the Grizzlies to the Jazz on Tuesday, and the veteran big man is slated to make his debut with Utah in Saturday's road contest. He averaged 21.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 2.0 threes, 1.7 blocks and 1.5 steals in 31.9 minutes per game across his 10 outings prior to Tuesday's trade. The Jazz appear to be committed to a frontcourt of Jackson and Lauri Markkanen for the foreseeable future, with rookie Ace Bailey and third-year pro Keyonte George (ankle) also serving as key members of the franchise.

Jazz's Jaren Jackson: Won't play Thursday
Jackson (recently traded) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against Atlanta.
Jackson was dealt from Memphis to Utah on Tuesday, and he'll be unavailable Thursday while the trade gets finalized and the 26-year-old big man gets settled in with his new team. Jackson's next chance to play will come Saturday at Orlando.

Jazz's Jaren Jackson: Traded to Utah
The Grizzlies traded Jackson to the Jazz on Tuesday in exchange for Walter Clayton, Kyle Anderson (illness), Taylor Hendricks, Georges Niang (foot) and three future first-round picks, ESPN's Shams Charania reports. Memphis also included Vince Williams, John Konchar and Jock Landale (neck) in the deal.
The Grizzlies are going all-in on a rebuild with this move. It's a surprise to see Jackson moved before Ja Morant, but the Jazz clearly met the high asking price with this haul of young talent and draft capital. Jackson was in the midst of a frustrating season in Memphis, but now the former Defensive Player of the Year will get a chance to rejuvenate himself with a fresh start. He figures to be the new face of the Jazz and becomes an intriguing pairing with Lauri Markkanen in the frontcourt. Jackson's debut with the Jazz likely won't come until Thursday against the Hawks at the earliest.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Powers Memphis to win
Jackson produced 30 points (8-17 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 11-11 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one block in 31 minutes during Monday's 137-128 victory over the Timberwolves.
Jackson returned from a bruised left quadriceps Monday following a one-game absence and didn't waste any time getting into a groove. He went perfect from the charity stripe and showed improvement from beyond the arc after going just 2-for-10 from three in his most recent appearance Thursday against the Pelicans. This marks Jackson's fourth time reaching the 30-point threshold in 45 appearances this season.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Gets green light Monday
Jackson (quadriceps) is available for Monday's game against the Timberwolves.
Jackson was upgraded to probable earlier in the day, and he's since gained clearance to run the floor Monday night after missing Saturday's clash, also against Minnesota. Vince Williams should slot back into a bench role due to Jackson's return.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Upgraded to probable
Jackson (quadriceps) has been upgraded to probable for Monday's game against the Timberwolves.
Jackson appears likely to return to action Monday after missing Saturday's loss to Minnesota. If the 26-year-old big man is cleared to play, there would be fewer minutes available for the likes of GG Jackson, Olivier-Maxence Prosper and Vince Williams. Over his last five outings, Jackson has averaged 20.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 2.2 steals and 1.6 blocks in 32.6 minutes per contest.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Questionable for Monday
Jackson (quadriceps) is questionable for Monday's game against the Timberwolves.
Jackson could miss a second straight game due to a left quadricep contusion. If he is unable to go, Jock Landale would likely see an expanded role.
