Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Doubtful Saturday
Jackson is doubtful for Saturday's game against the Timberwolves due to a left quadriceps contusion.
The quad injury is a new concern for Jackson, who is not expected to suit up in the second leg of this back-to-back set. John Konchar (neck) is doubtful and Santi Aldama (knee) is out, so the Grizzlies are likely to be extremely shorthanded in the frontcourt. GG Jackson, Vince Williams and Olivier-Maxence Prosper would be candidates for increased playing time if Jackson and Konchar are ultimately ruled out.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Rips away season-high six steals
Jackson chipped in 16 points (6-19 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, two blocks and six steals in 34 minutes during Friday's 114-106 loss to New Orleans.
While Jackson didn't have his best offensive outing, he was locked in on defense and notched a new season high in steals. After a slow start to the season, Jackson has been rolling since the calendar turned to 2026, flirting with top-30 value behind averages of 20.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.8 triples, 1.5 steals and 1.5 swats per contest.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Strong effort in loss
Jackson closed Wednesday's 112-97 loss to the Hornets with 26 points (10-20 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, four assists and two steals over 33 minutes.
Jackson was a bright spot for the Grizzlies, posting his eighth game of the campaign with at least 26 points. This season, Jackson has been underwhelming compared to past years with averages of 19.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.5 blocks and 1.7 three-pointers on 47.9 percent shooting from the field.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Chips in 17 points in loss
Jackson posted 17 points (8-17 FG, 1-5 3Pt), seven rebounds, one assist and two blocks over 31 minutes during the Grizzlies' 108-99 loss to the Rockets on Monday.
It was a struggle on offense for the Grizzlies on Monday, with Jackson co-leading the team in points with the returning Santi Aldama. Jackson was responsible for two of the Grizzlies' five blocks, and the veteran big man has posted at least two blocks in five of his last six outings. Over that six-game span, he has averaged 20.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.5 threes and 2.2 blocks over 31.5 minutes per game.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Double-double in loss
Jackson chipped in 26 points (7-18 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 10-11 FT), 12 rebounds, four blocks, three assists and one steal across 32 minutes during Friday's 133-127 loss to the Pelicans.
Jackson went to work on the glass Friday, matching a season high with 12 rebounds. While he hasn't been an incredibly explosive scorer, the big man has now reached double figures in 19 straight games, including 11 performances of 20-plus points. That steady offensive production, paired with his well-regarded defensive impact, cements Jackson as a high-level contributor.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Tame effort in loss
Jackson finished Wednesday's 124-122 loss to the Hawks with 17 points (6-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one steal over 32 minutes.
This was a mild effort from Jackson as the Grizzlies dropped to 18-24 on the season. With Memphis eyeing a potential rebuild and a Ja Morant trade, a lot of eyes will be on Jackson in the coming weeks. If the Grizzlies make him available, he could net a serious return for his two-way upside.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Drops 30 points in Berlin Game
Jackson finished Thursday's 118-111 loss to Orlando in the NBA Berlin Game with 30 points (12-22 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals across 33 minutes.
The 26-year-old forward led the Grizzlies in scoring and delivered at least 30 points for the first time since Dec. 28, and the third time this season. Jackson continues to produce excellent fantasy value at the defensive end of the court, recording multiple steals or multiple blocks -- or both, as he did Thursday -- 11 times in the last 15 games. Over that stretch, he's averaged 22.0 points, 6.3 boards, 2.3 blocks, 2.0 threes, 1.9 assists and 1.1 steals.

Over his last seven outings, he ranks as a ninth-rounder in nine-category fantasy formats with averages of 18.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.7 steals, 1.6 blocks and 1.6 three-pointers in 32.6 minutes per contest.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Will play Wednesday
Jackson (illness) is good to go for Wednesday's game versus the Suns.
Jackson is feeling a little under the weather, but he'll power through and play in Wednesday's game. He should see some more offense coming his way with Ja Morant (calf) unavailable.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Downgraded to questionable
Jackson (illness) has been downgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game against the Suns.
Jackson is feeling under the weather and is now questionable for Wednesday's contest after initially being labeled probable. The 26-year-old hasn't missed a game since Nov. 22. With Santi Aldama (ankle) also questionable, the Grizzlies' frontcourt could be shorthanded against Phoenix.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Dealing with illness
Jackson (illness) is probable for Wednesday's game against the Suns.
This is a new issue for Jackson, presumably after he woke up under the weather. He intends to play through the illness, however. During Tuesday's game against the Spurs, Jackson had a strong showing with 21 points, nine rebounds, two assists, three blocks and two steals.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Hits for team-high 25 in loss
Jackson closed with 25 points (12-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-5 FT), one rebound, two assists and one steal across 30 minutes during Friday's 128-121 loss to the Lakers.
Jackson's 25 points led the Grizzlies on the night, as he produced more than 20 points for the seventh time in the last nine games. Over that stretch, the 26-year-old forward is averaging 23.1 points, 7.1 boards, 2.7 blocks, 2.2 assists, 2.0 threes and 1.2 steals while shooting 52.0 percent from the floor and 42.9 percent from beyond the arc.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Ties season high with 31 points
Jackson logged 31 points (11-25 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 7-9 FT), eight rebounds, one assist, four blocks and one steal over 35 minutes during the Grizzlies' 116-112 loss to the Wizards on Sunday.
Jackson finished Sunday as the game's leading scorer, and it was the fifth time this season he blocked four or more shots. He entered Sunday's game averaging 18.0 points per game, but he has scored at least 21 points in six of his last seven outings and has shot 50.4 percent from the field over that span, including 47.1 percent from three on 4.9 attempts per game.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Scores 24, swats five shots in win
Jackson ended Friday's 125-104 win over the Bucks with 24 points (9-18 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-6 FT), nine rebounds, one assist, five blocks and one steal in 30 minutes.
Players like Ja Morant and Cedric Coward were dealing with playing time restrictions, but Jackson wasn't, and the big man was the one who carried Memphis offensively in this win. This isn't surprising, as Jackson has scored 20-plus points in five of his last six appearances. He's been doing more than just scoring, though, and the five blocks mean he's also had multiple blocks four times over that aforementioned stretch. His two-way impact has been massive for the Grizzlies, and fantasy managers are also enjoying his ability to make a consistent impact on both ends of the court.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Three rejections against Jazz
Jackson ended Tuesday's 137-128 victory over Utah with 21 points (9-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, three blocks and one steal over 30 minutes.
The 26-year-old forward was productive once again, scoring more than 20 points for the fourth time in the last five games while recording multiple steals or blocks, or both, for the eighth time in nine December contests. On the month, Jackson is averaging 16.8 points, 5.7 boards, 2.4 assists, 1.7 steals, 1.7 blocks and 1.3 threes.

Jackson produced 22 points (7-18 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-7 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and two steals in 32 minutes of Saturday's 130-122 loss to Washington.
Jackson was a bright spot for Memphis, but the team had a miserable finish to this game and snapped a two-game winning streak. Jackson is currently trending up, posting averages of 27.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.7 steals, 2.7 blocks and 3.0 three-pointers over his last three games.
