Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Falls short of double-double
Filipowski finished Thursday's 135-119 loss to the Trail Blazers with 15 points (6-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and six steals in 30 minutes.
Getting his third start in seven February contests, Filipowski just missed recording his fourth double-double of the month while setting a new career high in steals. With the Jazz trying to balance tanking for the top of the lottery against the league's load management rules, the second-year big man is likely to continue seeing his court time and role fluctuate wildly on the other side of the All-Star break. In those three February starts, Filipowski is averaging 15.3 points, 14.0 boards, 3.0 assists, 3.0 steals and 1.3 threes in 31.3 minutes.

Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Running with first unit
Filipowski is starting Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers.
Filipowski is back in the starting lineup after coming off the bench in three straight games. It looks like it could be another night in which Jusuf Nurkic is available off the bench but won't play, meaning there could be plenty of chances for Filipowski to make an impact.

Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Bounces back with double-double
Filipowski recorded 16 points (4-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 8-8 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and two steals over 23 minutes during Monday's 115-111 victory over Miami.
Filipowski was held to 12 minutes in his previous showing Saturday against the Magic, but he drew more opportunities Monday evening and made a significant impact. He did a good chunk of his damage from the charity stripe where he drilled a season-high eight shots, and he snagged double-digit rebounds for the third time in his last four games. Filipowski should continue to be in the frontcourt mix, though it's becoming difficult to predict when starters such as Jusuf Nurkic and Jaren Jackson will be featured versus giving players like Filipowski and John Konchar chances to show what they can do.

Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Only 12 minutes in loss
Filipowski logged nine points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT) and five rebounds across 12 minutes during Saturday's 120-117 loss to Orlando.
Filipowski logged just 12 minutes, continuing what has been a frustrating time for fantasy managers. The addition of Jaren Jackson prior to the trade deadline only complicates matters for Filiowski, at least for the short term. He remains a strong stash candidate, given the likely event that Utah opts to lean more on its youth. Until then, managers will simply have to deal with his inconsistent role.

Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Won't start Saturday
Filipowski won't start against the Magic on Saturday, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
The second-year center will retreat to the second unit in favor of Jusuf Nurkic on Saturday. Filipowski has averaged 8.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists across 20.0 minutes per game over 33 appearances off the bench this season.

Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Hauls in season-high 17 boards
Filipowski logged 15 points (5-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 17 rebounds and one assist in 28 minutes during Thursday's 121-119 loss to the Hawks.
The 17 rebounds were a season high for Filipowski, who submitted his sixth double-double of the year. Jusuf Nurkic ended up staying put with the Jazz following Thursday's trade deadline, but the veteran big man didn't appear against Atlanta and carries an uncertain future in Utah. Filipowski, on the other hand, is flourishing in the first unit in the meantime, averaging 14.4 points, 10.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.1 steals in 29.9 minutes per contest in his last 13 games as a starter.

Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Double-doubles in win
Filipowski supplied 16 points (6-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 16 rebounds, five assists, three steals and one block across 36 minutes during Tuesday's 131-122 win over the Pacers.
The second-year center got the starting nod in place of Jusuf Nurkic, who was available to suit up but ultimately received a day off after initially being ruled out due to rest purposes. Filipowski grabbed a game- and season-high 16 rebounds, securing his fifth double-double on the campaign. The Jazz traded for Jaren Jackson on Tuesday, which will likely affect Filipowski's playing time if the club holds onto Nurkic past the trade deadline. However, Utah still owns a top-eight protected pick in the 2026 Draft and may continue resting key players as the season progresses, keeping Filipowski in the mix as a viable streaming option.

Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Jumping into starting lineup
Filipowski is starting Tuesday's game against the Pacers.
The Jazz have a depleted frontcourt for the interim in the aftermath of Tuesday's Jaren Jackson trade. It's set to be the 17th start of the campaign for Filipowski, who has averaged 14.2 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steals in 29.5 minutes per contest in his last 11 starts.

Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Won't start vs. Toronto
Filipowski won't start against the Raptors on Sunday.
Jusuf Nurkic (illness) will return to action Sunday, pushing Filipowski to the bench. Over 12 games off the bench in January, the second-year center averaged 8.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 19.8 minutes per contest.

Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Starting sans Nurkic
Filipowski will start against the Nets on Friday.
The second-year center will get the starting nod due to Jusuf Nurkic (illness) being sidelined. As a starter this season (15 games), Filipowski has averaged 11.6 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists across 26.1 minutes per game.

Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Corrals 10 boards off bench
Filipowski had eight points (3-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal across 24 minutes during Tuesday's 115-103 loss to the Clippers.
With Jusuf Nurkic out sick Tuesday, the Jazz ended up dividing the center minutes evenly between Kevin Love and Filipowski. Over his last five appearances, Filipowski has averaged 9.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.0 steals in 23.3 minutes per game. His role could diminish if Nurkic returns to the floor Wednesday against the Warriors.

Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Not starting Monday
Filipowski is coming off the bench in Monday's game against the Spurs.
Jusuf Nurkic is instead getting the start at center Monday. Filipowski should still play meaningful minutes off the bench as the backup big man, keeping him in the streaming mix.

Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Double-double in Dallas
Filipowski recorded 13 points (6-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt), 12 rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal in 29 minutes during Saturday's 138-120 loss to the Mavericks.
Making his third straight start due to Lauri Markkanen (illness) being sidelined, Filipowski delivered his third double-double of the season. Since shifting into the starting five, the second-year big is averaging 13.3 points, 7.7 boards, 3.0 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.0 threes in 26.7 minutes while shooting 52.9 percent from the floor.

Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Strikes for 19 in Wednesday's start
Filipowski ended with 19 points (9-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt), seven rebounds, four assists and three steals over 31 minutes during Wednesday's 128-126 loss to the Bulls.
Getting his first start since Jan. 1 with Lauri Markkanen (illness), Jusuf Nurkic (toe/rest) and Kevin Love (rest) all out of action, Filipowski produced his best scoring effort since Dec. 23. The second-year center has plenty of fantasy appeal when he gets a chance to play big minutes, but Filipowski has seen more than 25 minutes just twice in 11 games since Christmas, averaging 7.2 points, 4.6 boards, 1.5 assists and 1.6 combined steals and blocks in 19.0 minutes during that stretch.

Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Scores 19 points in start
Filipowski generated 19 points (9-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt), seven rebounds, four assists and three steals across 31 minutes of Wednesday's 128-126 loss to Chicago.
Filipowski made his first start since Jan. 1, replacing Jusuf Nurkic, who wound up being a DNP-Coach's Decision Wednesday. Filipowski had a productive outing, exceeding the 18-point milestone for just the fourth time this season. He had been in a minor slump leading up to Wednesday's game, averaging 4.5 points and going 8-for-24 (33 percent) from the field over his last four games.

Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Woeful in loss
Filipowski had two points (1-6 FG) and five rebounds in four minutes during Wednesday's 129-125 overtime loss to the Thunder.
Filipowski was terrible Wednesday, logging a season-low four minutes. Seen as a likely silly-season winner, Filipowski's numbers over the past month have been far from ideal. In 13 appearances during that time, he has averaged 8.7 points and 5.5 rebounds in 20.8 minutes per contest, leaving him well outside the top-250 players in standard formats.

Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Coming off bench vs. Golden State
Filipowski is not in the Jazz's starting lineup against the Warriors on Saturday.
Even with Jusuf Nurkic (toe) missing a second straight game, Filipowski will operate in a reserve role Saturday while Kevin Love draws the start at center. Filipowski has started in seven of the Jazz's last 13 games, and over that span he has averaged 10.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 0.8 steals over 25.0 minutes per game.

Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Back in starting lineup
Filipowski is in the Jazz's starting lineup against the Clippers on Thursday, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Filipowski has come off the bench in each of the Jazz's last three games, but the second-year big man will draw the start Thursday due to the absence of Jusuf Nurkic (toe). Filipowski has started 11 regular-season games thus far, and as a starter he is averaging 11.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 threes over 25.8 minutes per game.

Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Confusion continues in Utah
Filipowski ended with six points (2-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, six assists, one block and two steals in 22 minutes during Saturday's 127-114 victory over the Spurs.
Filiowski remained on the bench Saturday, continuing what has been arguably the strangest rotation in the league to this point. In 14 games over the past month, Filipowski has averaged 11.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 0.9 three-pointers in 25.9 minutes per contest. Where the confusion starts is when trying to determine his exact role, having started in six of the past 14 games, typically when others are resting. At this stage, Filipowski should be viewed as a stash in standard leagues, at least until the direction in Utah becomes a little clearer.

Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Coming off bench Friday
Filipowski is not in Utah's starting lineup against Detroit on Friday.
Filipowski played well in his last start Tuesday against the Grizzlies, when he registered 25 points, 13 rebounds, four assists and two blocks over 35 minutes. However, the second-year big man will revert to a bench role Friday after Jusuf Nurkic was cleared to return.
