Henderson closed Sunday's 131-111 victory over the Pacers with 28 points (10-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal over 26 minutes.
Henderson was one of the main reasons why the Blazers secured a comfortable 20-point blowout win Sunday. The electric floor general didn't start after being part of the first unit in the past two contests, but he responded with his best game of the season thus far. Henderson made his debut Feb. 6 but has been very consistent, scoring in double digits in 10 of his 13 appearances. He's averaging 12.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game, so he should carry some fantasy appeal as long as he stays healthy, regardless of his role.
Henderson won't start Sunday's game against the Pacers.
With Deni Avdija (back) returning to action, Henderson will slide to the second unit. Over nine appearances off the bench this season, the 22-year-old point guard has averaged 12.9 points, 4.8 assists and 3.1 rebounds in 23.0 minutes per contest.
Henderson closed with eight points (3-11 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound, three assists and one steal across 24 minutes during Wednesday's 122-114 victory over Memphis.
Henderson moved into the starting lineup for just the second time since returning from injury, although the promotion failed to improve what has been a tough couple of weeks. In seven appearances during that time, he has averaged just 11.4 points, 4.0 assists and 1.0 three-pointers, leaving him outside the top-300 players in nine-category leagues.

Trail Blazers' Scoot Henderson: Starting Thursday
Rotowire
Henderson will start Thursday in Chicago.
This will be Henderson's first start of the season, and it'll be Toumani Camara, Jrue Holiday, Jerami Grant and Kris Murray joining him in the first unit for Thursday's game. Henderson is coming off a 19-point game and will draw a favorable matchup against the Bulls, so he's on the radar as a potential streamer if you need some points and dimes.

Trail Blazers' Scoot Henderson: Chips in 15 in Thursday's win
Rotowire
Henderson had 15 points (4-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), one rebound, four assists and one steal in 20 minutes off the bench during Thursday's 135-119 win over the Jazz.
Playing both halves of a back-to-back for the first time since recovering from a torn hamstring and making his season debut Feb. 6, Henderson saw a muted workload but put together a productive night. The third-year guard will likely remain with the second unit on the other side of the All-Star break as long as Jrue Holiday remains healthy, but Henderson at least appears to be ready to make a consistent contribution.

Trail Blazers' Scoot Henderson: Looks sharp in Wednesday's loss
Rotowire
Henderson registered 18 points (5-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds and two assists in 19 minutes during Wednesday's 133-109 loss to the Timberwolves.
Making just his third appearance of the season, Henderson delivered an efficient scoring performance off the bench. Given how much time he missed while recovering from a torn left hamstring earlier this season, Henderson is expected to have his minutes monitored carefully over the next several games, and he'll likely end up sitting out Thursday in Utah for the second leg of a back-to-back set. Even if the Portland coaching staff loosens the reins on Henderson following the All-Star break, he may not necessarily his minutes climb in a major way so long as the Trail Blazers have Jrue Holiday and Shaedon Sharpe (calf) available out of the backcourt.

Trail Blazers' Scoot Henderson: Ruled out Saturday
Rotowire
Henderson (hamstring) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Grizzlies.
After missing the first three-plus months of the regular season due to a torn left hamstring, Henderson made his season debut in Friday's win over Memphis, posting 11 points (4-10 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine assists, five rebounds and one steal across 21 minutes off the bench. However, he'll sit out the second leg of this back-to-back set, and his next opportunity to play will come Monday against Philadelphia.

Trail Blazers' Scoot Henderson: Just misses double-double in debut
Rotowire
Henderson (hamstring) racked up 11 points (4-10 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine assists, five rebounds and one steal across 21 minutes off the bench during Friday's 135-115 win over the Grizzlies.
Seeing his first action of the season after recovering from a torn hamstring, Henderson led Portland in assists despite being on the second unit and seeing a limited workload. The third overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft has yet to live up to expectations, but with Shaedon Sharpe leaving Friday's win early due to a calf injury, Henderson might need to handle a bigger role right away in the backcourt. However, with Portland set to play the Grizzlies in a rematch Saturday in the second leg of a back-to-back set, Henderson could be a candidate to sit out that contest for maintenance purposes following his return from a lengthy absence.

Trail Blazers' Scoot Henderson: Ready to make season debut
Rotowire
Henderson (hamstring) will play in Friday's game against Memphis, Sean Highkin of Rip City Radio 620 Portland reports.
The stage is set for the 2023 No. 3 overall pick to finally make his season debut following a long rehab due to a torn left hamstring he sustained this past fall. Given how long Henderson has been sidelined, fantasy managers shouldn't expect his minutes to reach the 20s until he becomes a bit further removed from the injury. His presence is most likely to cut into the playing time of Blake Wesley and Caleb Love in the Portland backcourt.

Henderson (hamstring) is out for Tuesday's game against the Suns.
Henderson's season debut has to wait at least one more contest, but he's been ramping up at practice and appears close to suiting up. His next chance to return from a torn hamstring will be during Friday's meeting with the Grizzlies. Henderson's absence should allow Caleb Love to maintain streaming appeal for another game.

Trail Blazers' Scoot Henderson: Considered week-to-week
Rotowire
Henderson (hamstring) has been limited to stationary shooting and dribbling in his recovery from a torn left hamstring and is considered week-to-week moving forward, Jason Quick of The Athletic reports.
Henderson sustained the injury during an offseason workout prior to the start of training camp and doesn't appear close to making his season debut. The third-year point guard said he has yet to progress to jumping, and he will presumably have several more hurdles to clear in his rehab process before being ready to resume contact drills. Until Henderson can return, Shaedon Sharpe and Caleb Love will likely continue to see more opportunities on the ball when starting point guard Jrue Holiday (calf) isn't available or is resting on the bench.

Trail Blazers' Scoot Henderson: Suffers torn hamstring
Rotowire
The Trail Blazers announced Friday that Henderson will resume basketball activities in 4-to-8 weeks after suffering a torn left hamstring, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reports.
Henderson sustained the injury during an offseason workout, and the timeline for a return will likely sideline him for the start of the upcoming season. While the 2023 first-rounder is on the shelf, Portland will likely lean on Jrue Holiday and Shaedon Sharpe in the backcourt. A clearer path to minutes in the early going should exist for Rayan Rupert as well.
