Rockets' Reed Sheppard: Three-point streak ends
Sheppard finished with four points (2-11 FG, 0-7 3Pt), four rebounds and one block across 15 minutes during Monday's 108-99 win over the Grizzlies.
Sheppard's performance against Memphis was an aberration compared to the rest of his season so far. His four points set a new season-low mark in scoring, while 15 minutes of action also matched a season-low total. Most notably, Sheppard's streak of at least one made three-pointer in 39 consecutive games ended after he missed all seven of his attempts Monday.

Rockets' Reed Sheppard: Drops 18 points Friday
Sheppard ended Friday's 111-104 win over the Pistons with 18 points (6-15 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT), one assist and one steal in 25 minutes.
Sheppard scored in double digits for the fifth straight game, continuing to flirt with standard-league value. While Houston continues to deal with its share of injuries, Sheppard has been unable to step into a starter-level role. In eight appearances over the past two weeks, he has averaged 12.4 points, 1.0 steals and 2.5 three-pointers in just 21.2 minutes per contest.

Rockets' Reed Sheppard: Standout performance in win
Sheppard posted 21 points (8-17 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 29 minutes during Tuesday's 111-106 win over San Antonio.
Sheppard reminded everyone what he is capable of when afforded meaningful minutes, scoring at least 20 points for just the second time in the past 16 games. Trailing by as much as 16 points, Houston was able to turn the tables late, on the back of some fantastic play by Sheppard. While this was certainly a standout performance, fantasy managers are right to remain skeptical given the lack of trust from head coach Ime Udoka. If Sheppard was dropped in your league, he could be worth picking up, just in case this is the start of a turnaround.

Rockets' Reed Sheppard: Limited role continues
Sheppard produced eight points (3-8 FG, 2-5 3Pt), one rebound and one assist over 22 minutes during Tuesday's 119-113 victory over the Bulls.
Sheppard scored in single digits for the fourth time in the past six games, continuing to play a limited role off the bench. Despite the fact that Tari Eason is dealing with an ankle injury, it appears Sheppard isn't tabbed for an extensive role, and JD Davison was used down the stretch Tuesday.

Rockets' Reed Sheppard: Notches 20 points in loss
Sheppard ended with 20 points (8-21 FG, 4-11 3Pt), three rebounds, four assists and one steal across 34 minutes during Friday's 111-105 loss to the Trail Blazers.
For the fifth time this season, Sheppard reached 20 points for Houston. He needed a night like this one, as he's been held in check for the most part recently. Over his last four games, he's shooting 38.0 percent from the field with averages of 11.8 points, 3.0 assists, 2.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 2.0 three-pointers.

Rockets' Reed Sheppard: Limited in loss Saturday
Sheppard accumulated eight points (3-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt) and five assists over 22 minutes during Saturday's 110-104 loss to the Mavericks.
Sheppard logged just 22 minutes, continuing what has been a frustrating trend thus far this season. While Sheppard remains a clear must-roster player, his playing time hasn't always been consistent.

Rockets' Reed Sheppard: Strong line in win
Sheppard chipped in 14 points (5-11 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, one assist, three blocks and one steal across 31 minutes during Thursday's 120-96 win over the Nets.
Sheppard can be volatile at times, but overall, he's been a solid fantasy asset for the Rockets. Across 31 regular-season games, he's averaging 13.5 points, 3.4 assists, 2.9 rebounds, 1.6 steals, 0.6 blocks and 2.6 three-pointers in 25.9 minutes per contest.

Rockets' Reed Sheppard: Career-high five steals Saturday
Sheppard totaled 18 points (5-12 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, eight assists, one block and five steals in 32 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 117-100 victory over Cleveland.
The second-year guard played most of the fourth quarter in a big win, and Sheppard tied his career high in assists while setting a new personal best in swipes. He's been a big part of the Rockets' second unit this season, and over the last 10 games Sheppard is averaging 13.9 points, 4.1 assists, 2.8 boards, 2.8 threes and 1.4 steals in 26.7 minutes per contest.

Rockets' Reed Sheppard: Logs 13 points off bench in win
Sheppard closed Thursday's 119-96 victory over the Lakers with 13 points (5-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 19 minutes.
Sheppard barely reached double digits in points, although it wasn't his most active appearance, as he went below 20 minutes of play for the first time in his last 21 games. The young guard has been a backup option throughout the season but is often aggressive when on the floor, averaging 13.3 points per contest.
