Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Team-high seven assists in loss
Nembhard finished Friday's 101-92 loss to New York with eight points (3-14 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 32 minutes.
Nembhard didn't put together his finest effort, but it was notable to see him play both ends of a back-to-back set for the first time since December. The fourth-year guard will likely remain a candidate for occasional workload management in the final month of the regular season, but he should remain productive for fantasy managers when available. Over his last eight appearances, Nembhard has averaged 16.5 points, 6.5 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 27.3 minutes per game.

Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Available Friday
Nembhard (back/neck) will play in Friday's game against the Knicks, Jared Schwartz of the New York Post reports.
Nembhard has been a mainstay on the injury report of late due to neck and lower-back soreness, though he'll shed his questionable tag Friday. The 26-year-old guard logged just 17 minutes in Thursday's loss to Phoenix and may remain limited in the second leg of this back-to-back set.

Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Questionable for Friday
Nembhard (back/neck) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Knicks.
Nembhard returned from a one-game absence Thursday and was remarkably efficient, scoring 23 points on 6-for-7 shooting in just 17 minutes. However, he did not play in the second half of that contest, a move likely intended to preserve him for the second night of this back-to-back. While Indiana is deep in a tanking season, having lost 11 straight games, it's possible Nembhard sits Friday. If he is eventually ruled out, expect Kam Jones and Quenton Jackson (calf) to handle the bulk of the backcourt minutes.

Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Scores 23 points in return
Nembhard supplied 23 points (6-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 9-10 FT), two assists and one steal over 17 minutes during Thursday's 123-108 loss to the Suns.
Making his return from a one-game absence, Nembhard was extremely efficient from the floor and missed just one shot, although this outing didn't prevent the 15-point loss. Nembhard has been one of the most consistent players for the Pacers all season long. He's averaging 16.1 points, 6.1 assists and 1.8 rebounds across eight appearances since the All-Star break.

Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Questionable for Thursday
Nembhard is questionable for Thursday's game against the Suns due to neck and lower-back soreness.
Thursday is the front half of Indiana's back-to-back, so Nembhard is likely to sit out one leg or the other. The bulk of the minutes at point guard could fall into the hands of Ben Sheppard and Kam Jones on Thursday.

Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Not playing Tuesday
Nembhard (neck/back) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Kings, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Nembhard drew a doubtful tag due to lower-back and neck soreness, so it's no surprise to see the fourth-year guard being ruled out. With Nembhard and T.J. McConnell (hamstring) both sidelined, the Pacers will need to lean more heavily on the likes of Kam Jones and Quenton Jackson. Nembhard's next chance to play is Thursday against Phoenix.

Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Unlikely to play Tuesday
Nembhard is doubtful for Tuesday's game against the Kings due to lower back and neck soreness.
Nembhard was cleared to suit up for Sunday's matchup against the Blazers, but he's on track to get a rest day Tuesday evening. Kam Jones and Quenton Jackson would be in line for a start at point guard, assuming Nembhard is downgraded to out closer to tipoff.

Nembhard finished Friday's game as the Pacers' leader in assists, and while he struggled from beyond the arc, he ended as the team's second-leading scorer behind Pascal Siakam (26 points). Nembhard has played in six of the Pacers' eight games since the All-Star break while working through back and neck injuries, and over that span he has averaged 15.3 points, 6.3 assists, 2.0 rebounds, 1.8 threes and 0.8 steals over 27.2 minutes per game.

Nembhard (back) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Clippers.

Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Won't play Sunday
Nembhard (back/neck) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Grizzlies, Alex Golden of the 'Setting the Pace' podcast reports.
Nembhard's injury status for Sunday's game improved from doubtful to questionable Saturday, but the fourth-year guard will not suit up while working through back and neck soreness . In his absence, T.J. McConnell and Kam Jones figure to be the top candidates to enter Indiana's starting lineup. Nembhard's next opportunity to play is Wednesday against the Clippers.

Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Questionable for Sunday
Nembhard (back) has been upgraded to questionable for Sunday's game against the Grizzlies.
Nembhard was originally considered doubtful to suit up Sunday, and while he is still leaning toward the doubtful side of his new tag, this upgrade suggests he has made some progress in his recovery from a lingering back issue. If Nembhard is unable to play for a second consecutive game, the Pacers would likely rely on Quenton Jackson, T.J. McConnell and Kam Jones to handle the majority of the backcourt duties.
