Pacers' Jalen Slawson: Making first NBA start Sunday
Slawson is in the Pacers' starting lineup against the Bucks on Sunday, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Sunday will be Slawson's 15th regular-season appearance and first NBA start since entering the league in 2023. In his last outing against the Suns on Thursday, Slawson played 32 minutes and finished with 10 points, eight rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block. He'll join T.J. McConnell, Andrew Nembhard, Jarace Walker and Ivica Zubac in the starting lineup.

Pacers' Jalen Slawson: Turns heads with loaded line
Slawson notched 10 points (3-9 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals across 32 minutes during Thursday's 123-108 loss to Phoenix.
Making just his second appearance at the NBA level this season, Slawson made the most of his playing time and recorded an impressive stat line. If he continues to see decent playing time off the bench, Slawson might be a player worth keeping close tabs on as a streaming alternative in deep formats. However, he won't have upside when the Pacers are at full strength, which they weren't close to Thursday.

Pacers' Jalen Slawson: Gets two-way deal with Indiana
The Pacers intend to sign Slawson to a two-way contract, Tony East of Forbes.com reports Friday.
The Pacers had an open two-way slot for Slawson after converting Quenton Jackson to a standard contract. Slawson has spent the entire season in the G League with the Noblesville Bloom, where he is averaging 17.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 1.8 threes, 1.8 blocks and 1.3 steals over 34.2 minutes per game. He last saw NBA regular-season action during his rookie year in 2023-24 as a member of the Kings, when he averaged 3.1 minutes per game across 12 outings.

Slawson signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Magic on Wednesday.
Slawson spent the 2023-24 campaign on a two-way deal with the Kings and appeared in 12 games at the NBA level, averaging just 3.1 minutes per contest. He became an unrestricted free agent this summer after the Kings opted not to extend him a qualifying offer, and he'll now join Orlando for training camp with the hope of securing a spot on the 15-man roster or a two-way spot. If Slawson is cut before the start of the regular season, the Magic would retain his G League rights.

Kings' Jalen Slawson: Cracks rotation
Slawson finished Monday's 129-93 loss to the Pelicans with four points (2-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and one block over 12 minutes.
Slawson played a season-high 12 minutes thanks to numerous injuries. Keon Ellis (ankle) and Sasha Vezenkov (thumb) were ruled out prior to tipoff, while Chris Duarte (hand) and Keegan Murray (back) left the contest early. Kevin Huerter also played through a finger injury that sidelined him for the team's previous contest. If the Kings remain shorthanded moving forward, Slawson could carve out a solid bench role, but his fantasy value is completely dependent on injuries.

Though Slawson attempted just six field goals, he managed to lead the Kings in points while also tying for the team lead in assists and rebounds. The Furman product also collected three steals-plus-blocks, showcasing his versatility.
