Hagans has been on the inactive list the past two games, but he'll be available Wednesday off the bench. However, with Scoot Henderson, Anfernee Simons and Dalano Banton all ahead of him in the pecking order in the backcourt and suiting up Wednesday, Hagans may not crack head coach Chauncey Billups' rotation.

Hagans signed a two-way contract with the Trail Blazers in late February and has looked impressive, increasing his minutes with each game while delivering his best performance of the campaign in Saturday's overtime win. Hagans posted season-best marks in minutes played, points, rebounds, assists and steals while ending just two dimes short of a double-double. The nature of his bench role limits his fantasy upside, but Hagans is at least showing he deserves a role in Portland's rotation during the final weeks of the regular season.

Hagans had spent most of the season with the Trail Blazers' G League affiliate, the Rip City Remix, before he signed a 10-day contract with Portland in early February. He averaged 2.8 points and 1.8 assists in 14.8 minutes per game over four appearances with the Trail Blazers, and with his 10-day deal nearing an end, Portland opted to give him their third and final two-way roster spot. Hagans' status as a two-way player will allow him to easily move between Portland and Rip City, though he could see most of his playing time with the G League club moving forward.

Hagans has been playing for Portland's G League affiliate, the Rip City Remix, but he'll be with the NBA club for the next 10 days to give the Trail Blazers some depth in the backcourt. The 24-year-old last appeared in the NBA in 2020-21, when he made one two-minute appearance for the Timberwolves. He's averaging 13.3 points (on 45.2 percent shooting from the field), 7.8 assists, 4.1 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 0.9 three-pointers in 28.8 minutes per game over 29 appearances for Rip City in 2023-24.

Hagans sustained a right ankle avulsion fracture in March but signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Trail Blazers in mid-August. He's spent plenty of time in the G League in recent seasons and could wind up back there this year if he's unable to make enough of an impression during camp.
