  • Didi Louzada: Doesn't play Wednesday

Louzada (lower body) was a DNP-CD in Wednesday's win over Maine.

Louzada missed the final games of the regular season for the Charge, and even though he was deemed healthy in this one, he stayed on the bench. He will add depth for the Charge but not much else, as he holds a minimal role in the rotation.

  • Didi Louzada: Dealing with glute injury

Louzada didn't play Wednesday against the Swarm due to a glute injury.

It's unclear when Louzada picked up the injury or when he'll be able to rejoin the Charge's rotation, but his absence shouldn't have a significant impact since he had a minimal role on the team even when healthy.

  • Didi Louzada: Records double-double

Louzada posted 17 points (7-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals across 37 minutes in Friday's win over Wisconsin.

Louzada had another strong showing and has looked good for the Charge of late, responding well in a starting role. In fact, this 17-point performance was his best scoring output of the regular season, and he has scored in double digits in two of his last three contests as well.

  • Didi Louzada: Goes for 13 points in win

Louzada posted 13 points (4-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block across 28 minutes in Tuesday's 99-97 win over Westchester.

Louzada is not known for being a consistent scoring threat for the Charge, but he made his presence felt in this one while looking locked in from three-point range. He's averaging 8.3 points per game while shooting 41.7 percent from deep to start the 2022-23 regular season.

  • Didi Louzada: Scores 12 points off bench Monday

Louzada had 12 points (4-9 FG, 4-5 3Pt), two rebounds and an assist across 24 minutes off the bench in Monday's win over the Skyhawks.

Louzada is not known for his offensive contributions and regularly holds a minimal role off the bench for the Charge, but he made his presence felt here due to his efficiency from beyond the arc. Louzada was one of five players that scored in double digits for Cleveland in this win.

  • Didi Louzada: Limited output Monday

Louzada (undisclosed) had three points (1-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt), three rebounds, an assist and a steal across 22 minutes in Monday's win over Windy City.

Louzada missed quite a few games due to injury and while it was unclear when he returned to practice, his return to action should boost the team's depth in the backcourt. That said, it's not clear if he'll remain in the starting unit or not going forward.

  • Didi Louzada: Placed on injured list

Louzada has been placed on the injured list by the Charge due to an undisclosed issue.

The extent of Louzada's injury is unclear, but he seems slated to miss some time. It's an unfortunate turn of events after Louzada posted a double-double (14 points, 10 rebounds) off the bench in the season opener.

  • Didi Louzada: Scores 14 points off bench

Louzada posted 14 points (5-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, an assist and a steal across 25 minutes off the bench in Friday's win over Motor City.

Louzada didn't have a bad shooting performance, but he also provided value on the glass. He is expected to come off the bench to start the season for the Charge.

  • Didi Louzada: Joining G League's Charge

Louzada agreed to a deal with the Cleveland Charge on Monday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

After being waived by Portland over the offseason, Louzada will begin the new season with Cleveland's G League affiliate. The 23-year-old has averaged 3.6 points and 1.7 rebounds across his 12 career appearances in the NBA.

  • Didi Louzada: Waived by Portland

The Trail Blazers waived Louzada on Monday.

After being acquired by Portland in a midseason trade, Louzada averaged 3.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game over nine appearances with the Trail Blazers. The 6-foot-5 guard is now set to search for a new club.

  • Trail Blazers' Didi Louzada: Starting in finale

Louzada is starting Sunday's game against the Jazz, Jay Allen of NBC Sports Northwest Rip City Radio 620 reports.

  • Trail Blazers' Didi Louzada: Sticking in rotation

Louzada finished with three points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and one rebound across 13 minutes Sunday in the Trail Blazers' 113-92 loss to the Spurs.

After a prolonged absence while he recovered from the left knee surgery he underwent Feb. 4, Louzada has suited up in three straight games for the Trail Blazers, playing between 11 and 17 minutes in all of those contests. With Portland having already shut down several key players for the season, Louzada should stick in the rotation for Portland's final four contests of 2021-22, though he likely won't see much of an uptick in playing time.

  • Trail Blazers' Didi Louzada: Active Wednesday

Louzada (knee) is available for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans, Christian Clark of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Louzada will suit up as expected after being considered probable for his return from February knee surgery. He appeared in two games for the Pelicans early in the season and will make his debut for the Blazers against his former team.

  • Trail Blazers' Didi Louzada: Probable Wednesday

Louzada (knee) is probable for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports.

Assuming Louzada takes the floor, it'll be his Blazers debut and just his third appearance of the season, as he's missed time due to a suspension and left knee surgery. That said, he'll presumably be on a minutes limit, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect much.

  • Trail Blazers' Didi Louzada: Could return this season

The Trail Blazers announced Monday that Louzada (knee) is expected to return to action before the end of the regular season.

The 23-year-old has appeared in only five NBA games since joining the Pelicans late last season, and while it's still very much unclear where he fits into the Trail Blazers' future plans, it looks like they may try to get a look at him over the final two weeks of the regular season. Louzada has been sidelined since undergoing knee surgery on Feb. 4, but he's said to be in the final stages of his recovery. He has yet to debut for Portland, as he was acquired from New Orleans on Feb. 8 in the deal that sent CJ McCollum to the Pelicans.

  • Trail Blazers' Didi Louzada: Dealt to Portland

The Trail Blazers acquired Louzada (knee) on Tuesday along with Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Josh Hart, Tomas Satoransky, a 2022 protected first-round pick and two future second-round picks in exchange for CJ McCollum, Larry Nance (knee) and Tony Snell, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

As a 23-year-old on a rookie deal, Louzada's developmental timeline theoretically aligns with Portland's rebuilding effort, but that doesn't mean that he's necessarily part of their long-term plans. Since making the jump from Australia to the NBA late in the 2020-21 season, Louzada made only five appearances for the Pelicans. A 25-game suspension earlier in the current season for violating the NBA's anti-drug program may have cost him some playing time, but the defensive-minded wing hadn't been included in the Pelicans' rotation anyway. Shortly after his suspension lapsed, Louzada was diagnosed with a torn meniscus in his left knee in late January and has since undergone surgery. Louzada also recently tested positive for COVID-19, but he's since cleared the health and safety protocols and will be able to report to Portland to have his rehab program monitored. Louzada is without an official timeline to return from surgery, but it's possible his absence extends through the remainder of the season.

  • Pelicans' Didi Louzada: Undergoes successful surgery

Louzada announced via his personal Twitter on Friday that he underwent successful surgery on his left knee.

Louzada suffered the injury while playing for the G League's Birmingham Squadron in mid-January. The surgery was likely delayed due to a stint in the NBA's health and safety protocols at the end of January, but he appears to have tested out and should be able to rehab at team facilities. The second-year pro has appeared in just two games at the NBA level this season -- a byproduct of not being a mainstay in coach Willie Green's rotation, along with the fact that he served a 25-game suspension earlier in the campaign for violating the league's anti-drug program. There's no timetable for his return, but the Pelicans may keep him sidelined for the rest of the season.

  • Pelicans' Didi Louzada: In protocols

Louzada (knee) was placed in the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols Saturday.

Louzada will likely remain away from the team for a few days, but his placement in the protocols won't affect his timeline for a return. The second-year guard is considered out indefinitely after suffering a torn medial meniscus in his left knee earlier this month.

  • Pelicans' Didi Louzada: Out indefinitely with knee injury

The Pelicans announced Sunday that Louzada is out indefinitely after suffering a torn medial meniscus in his left knee, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.

Louzada suffered the injury in question while playing for the G League's Birmingham Squadron on Friday. The Pelicans won't have a timeline for Louzada's return until he undergoes surgery, but the team has yet to determine when a procedure might take place. Regardless, Louzada will presumably be sidelined for at least a month, and quite possibly the remainder of the season. The second-year player has appeared in just two games at the NBA level this season, a byproduct of not being a mainstay in head coach Willie Green's rotation along with the fact that he also served as a 25-game suspension earlier in the campaign for violating the league's anti-drug program.

Louzada recently cleared a suspension. He will get his feet wet in the G League before potentially joining the Pelicans' rotation.
