Trail Blazers' Toumani Camara: Stuffs stat sheet in win
Camara posted 16 points (6-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-4 FT), five rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal over 37 minutes during Monday's 118-100 victory over the Pelicans.
Camara surpassed the 15-point mark for the first time this season, but scoring figures aside, he delivered a strong fantasy performance due to his ability to contribute in multiple categories. Camara could use some consistency as a scorer given he's entrenched in a starting role, but even with those woes, he's averaging a respectable 9.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.8 steals per game in eight contests while averaging 30.6 minutes per tilt.

Trail Blazers' Toumani Camara: Efficient in loss
Camara chipped in 13 points (4-7 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals in 24 minutes during Friday's 137-114 loss to Oklahoma City.
After logging 40 minutes against the Clippers, Camara saw his playing time dip to 24 minutes in Friday's loss. The second-year forward has now recorded at least one steal in all six of his appearances this season.

Trail Blazers' Toumani Camara: Scores 12 points
Camara racked up 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), three rebounds, four assists and two steals over 34 minutes during Sunday's 125-103 victory over New Orleans.
Playing in his second season, Camara has been a key part of Portland's rotation early on this season. He's been productive across the board in fantasy leagues as well, posting averages of 9.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.7 three-pointers through three games.

Trail Blazers' Toumani Camara: Records double-double
Camara notched 15 points (5-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block across 35 minutes in Wednesday's 111-100 preseason win over Ratiopharm Ulm.
Camara was one of three Portland players who logged more than 30 minutes in this outing, with Scoot Henderson and Rayan Rupert being the others, and he made the most of his time out there. Even though he wasn't particularly efficient, Camara delivered a solid stat line across the board and is showing he's more than ready for the start of the regular season against the Warriors on Oct. 23, regardless of whether he starts or comes off the bench.

Trail Blazers' Toumani Camara: Efficient in preseason win
Camara scored 13 points (4-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 4-5 FT) while adding a rebound, an assist and two steals across 23 minutes in Sunday's 108-85 preseason win over the Kings.
The Trail Blazers have yet to decide who will open the season in the starting unit, but Camara is trying to make a strong case to earn a role there. That said, he might open the season as the backup to Deni Avdija at small forward regardless of whether Anfernee Simons (ankle) is ready for the season opener on Oct. 23 against the Warriors. Camara started 49 of his 70 regular-season appearances as a rookie in 2023-24 and averaged 7.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.9 steals across 24.8 minutes per game.

Trail Blazers' Toumani Camara: Just misses double-double in start
Camara scored 19 points (5-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-8 Ft) while adding nine rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 31 minutes during Friday's 101-99 preseason loss to the Clippers.
The second-year forward saw a hefty workload in the Blazers' preseason opener with Deni Avdija (personal), Shaedon Sharpe (shoulder) and Anfernee Simons (ankle) all unavailable, and Camara took advantage of the opportunity to lead the team in points and boards. Despite the intriguing all-around performance, the 2023 second-round pick will be back on the second unit when the rest of the Portland roster is at full strength.

Portland general manager Joe Cronin said Monday that Camara (ribs) is good to go for training camp, Sean Highkin of RoseGardenReport.com reports.
Camara suffered a fractured left rib and a small laceration in his kidney at the end of March, ending his rookie season early. The second-round pick out of Dayton showed a ton of promise, especially on the defensive end. In 70 regular-season appearances, Camara produced averages of 7.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.8 three-pointers in 24.8 minutes.

Trail Blazers' Toumani Camara: Ruled out for season
The Trail Blazers announced Saturday that Camara has been diagnosed with a fractured left rib and a small laceration in his kidney, which will cause him to miss the rest of the season.
Camara suffered the injuries in Wednesday's 120-106 loss to the Hawks and then sat out Friday's 142-82 loss to the Heat before the Trail Blazers confirmed a day later that his rookie season has come to an end. The second-round pick out of Dayton finished his inaugural NBA campaign with averages of 7.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.8 three-pointers in 24.8 minutes across 70 appearances, including 49 starts.

Trail Blazers' Toumani Camara: Efficient in loss to Atlanta
Camara supplied 17 points (7-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists and one steal over 30 minutes during Wednesday's 120-106 loss to Atlanta.
Even though Dalano Banton stole the show for the Blazers with his 31-point effort, Camara was highly efficient in the frontcourt, missing just two of his nine shots and scoring in double digits for the fourth consecutive game. He's averaging 14.0 points while shooting 55 percent from the field in that stretch. Expect Camara to continue seeing heavy minutes in the final weeks of the regular season as Portland's starting power forward.

Trail Blazers' Toumani Camara: Contributes at both ends Monday
Camara totaled 12 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, two blocks and two steals across 35 minutes during Monday's 110-92 loss to the Rockets.
Camara scored in double digits for the third consecutive game, and while his numbers have not been eye-popping, he's been serviceable on a struggling Portland team. He could be worth a flier in deep formats or as a streaming option, as he's started in all but one of his 13 appearances this month, averaging 8.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists and a combined 1.4 steals-plus-blocks per game.

Trail Blazers' Toumani Camara: Scores 11 points on 11 shots
Camara logged 11 points (5-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt), seven rebounds and one assist over 32 minutes during Friday's 125-117 loss to the Clippers.
Camara has been very inconsistent with his scoring figures lately, and while his starting role is not in jeopardy, he isn't doing much from a fantasy perspective. Camara has failed to reach the 10-point mark in seven of his 11 appearances this month, meaning he's averaging a paltry 7.8 points per game in March even though he's shooting 47.8 percent from the field.
