Thunder's Jalen Williams: Strong output Sunday
Williams chipped in 16 points (7-18 FG, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and three blocks in 34 minutes during Sunday's 123-115 win over the Trail Blazers.
Williams experienced an uptick in numbers across all categories, except assists, in his second game of the season. More importantly, he went from attempting 12 shots Friday against the Suns to 18 in this game, suggesting he'll handle his usual role in the offensive scheme before long. Williams, who averaged 21.6 points per game in 2024-25 while playing a key role in the Thunder's championship run, might need a few games to shake off the rust. However, the All-Star forward is worth the wait and should remain a lock in your lineup across all formats now that he's healthy.

Thunder's Jalen Williams: Strong all-around numbers in debut
Williams (wrist) recorded 11 points (3-12 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight assists, four rebounds, two steals and one block across 29 minutes Friday in the Thunder's 123-119 win over the Suns.
Though he was a bit rusty with his shooting in his first game of the season following July 1 surgery to address a torn scapholunate ligament in his right wrist, Williams otherwise delivered outstanding cross-category fantasy production for managers who decided to activate him. Williams was operating with a minor playing-time restriction in his debut, but he should see his minutes settle around the 30-to-35 mark in competitive contests once he regains full conditioning.

Thunder's Jalen Williams: Will make season debut Friday
Williams (wrist) will make his season debut Friday against the Suns, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Williams will finally make his season debut Friday after missing the Thunder's first 19 games in 2025-26. His return will give the Thunder a huge boost on both ends of the court, and he could slot into the starting small-forward role to keep the frontcourt pairing of Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein in the lineup. Williams was the Thunder's second-best player in the 2024-25 season, averaging 21.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.6 steals per game.
