Braun is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Celtics due to a left ankle sprain.
Braun recently returned from nearly a two-month absence with the injury, and the Nuggets are continuing to monitor his health. After an extended absence due to a left ankle sprain, Braun made his first appearance since Nov. 12 in Sunday's loss to the Nets, finishing with three points (1-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds and one block over 24 minutes. Sunday was Braun's first appearance since the Nov. 12 win over the Clippers, and he exhibited signs of rust in his return to the floor. Fantasy managers can expect the 2022 first-rounder's minutes to creep back towards the 30s once he becomes further removed from his sprained left ankle. On the campaign, Braun has averaged 10.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 0.8 steals in 29.2 minutes per contest through 12 regular-season games.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Returning and starting Sunday
Braun (ankle) is available and in the Nuggets' starting lineup against the Nets on Sunday.
Braun has progressed enough in his recovery from a significant left ankle sprain to return following a 23-game absence. Per Sharif Phillips-Keaton of USA Today, Nuggets had coach David Adelman told reporters that Braun and Aaron Gordon (hamstring) would both operate under minutes restrictions in their returns.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Could return during road trip
Nuggets head coach David Adelman said Saturday that Braun (ankle) could return at some point during the back end of the team's ongoing seven-game road trip, Katy Winge of Altitude Sports reports.
Braun hasn't played since Nov. 12 due to a significant left ankle sprain, but he joined the Nuggets on the road trip and was able to complete a pregame workout prior to Saturday's 127-126 loss in Orlando, per Winge. The fourth-year wing will remain out for Monday's game in Miami and is unlikely to be available for Wednesday's game in Toronto, but based on Adelman's comments, a return in the first week of January would appear to be a realistic outcome.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Working out at practice
Braun (ankle) was spotted doing some training off to the side during Saturday's practice, Brendan Vogt of TheDNVR.com reports.
Braun still hasn't been cleared for on-court activities, but it's promising to see that he's making progress toward a return. It was reported in mid-November that he would be re-evaluated in six weeks, so he's likely just a few weeks away from another concrete update from the team.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Out at least six weeks
Braun is scheduled to be re-evaluated in six weeks after suffering a left ankle sprain during Wednesday's 130-116 win over the Clippers, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
The Nuggets haven't provided official word on the severity of Braun's injury, but he's seemingly dealing with something more significant than a Grade 1 sprain and will be in line for a lengthy absence. Given that Braun is unlikely to be immediately cleared for game action even once he's re-evaluated, fantasy managers should brace for his absence to extend into the new year. Tim Hardaway started the second half of Wednesday's game after Braun exited the contest and should see a boost in playing time during Braun's absence, while Julian Strawther and Spencer Jones could also carve out more consistent roles in the rotation. Through the first 11 games of the season, Braun had taken a big step back statistically from his career-best 2024-25 campaign, averaging 11.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.5 three-pointers in 29.5 minutes while shooting 49.5 percent from the field and 79.3 percent from the free-throw line.
