While he's likely to shift back to a bench role behind Valanciunas as soon as Sunday, productive minutes from Nnaji at center would be valuable as Denver continues to navigate Jokic's extended absence.

This wasn't Nnaji's best showing, and it's still hard to make the case for him outside of very deep leagues. Over his last four games, he's seeing 22.1 minutes per contest with 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.5 blocks and 0.3 three-pointers. Additionally, Nikola Jokic (knee) has been cleared for on-court work and is hoping to return in late January or early February.

Nnaji struggled to find his shooting touch in this one, but he still managed to score in double figures for the third time in four games by getting to the charity stripe. He saw a healthy dose of playing time Wednesday despite Aaron Gordon being active off the bench for the second time in three games. However, Nnaji could begin to see his opportunities dwindle once Gordon returns to the starting lineup.

Nnaji matched his career-high mark of 21 points, as he was able to take advantage of some extra minutes with the Nuggets sitting multiple starters for the second leg of this back-to-back set. DaRon Holmes has been pretty underwhelming as Denver's fill-in starter at center, so it will be interesting to see if Nnaji can leapfrog him. If that happens, Nnaji could certainly be an interesting pickup in the short term.

Nnaji racked up 13 points (3-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds and one steal in 24 minutes during Friday's 113-108 loss to the Cavaliers.
Nnaji dropped a season-high 13 points, playing as the backup center behind DaRon Holmes. Although this was basically a minutes split, it should be noted that Holmes picked up two quick fouls, allowing Nnaji to enter the game earlier than expected. Both could have some limited value for the foreseeable future, although Holmes remains the priority add at this point.
