Nets' Cam Thomas: Provides boost offensively in loss
Thomas provided 17 points (6-17 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds and two assists across 31 minutes during Sunday's 106-92 loss to the Pistons.
Thomas struggled shooting from deep but still provided a lift to the Nets offense while finishing second on the team in scoring and as one of two Brooklyn players with a double-digit point total. Thomas' scoring total in Sunday's loss is his lowest of the season, but he's scored north of 20 points in five of his first seven contests.

Nets' Cam Thomas: Stay hot in win over Chicago
Thomas racked up 32 points (11-23 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 6-7 FT), four assists and one steal across 32 minutes during Friday's 120-112 win over the Bulls.
Thomas scored at least 30 points for the third time in six games. The fourth-year guard is currently ninth in the league in scoring with 28.2 points per game and is well on his way to a career-best campaign if he stays healthy. Thomas averaged 22.5 points per game across 66 regular-season appearances last season.

Nets' Cam Thomas: Struggles from field Wednesday
Thomas logged 19 points (4-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 10-11 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 119-106 win over Memphis.
Thomas had a rough showing in this win, but fortunately for him, the likes of Dennis Schroeder and Ziaire Williams stepped up to carry the Nets to their second win in their last three games. Thomas is bound to have a few down performances here and there, but he remains the most reliable offensive weapon the Nets have from a scoring perspective -- even when factoring in Schroder's impressive start to the campaign. Through five games, Thomas is averaging 27.4 points per game while shooting 43.4 percent from the floor.

Nets' Cam Thomas: Hits for 26 in OT loss to Denver
Thomas finished with 26 points (8-22 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 9-9 FT), three rebounds and three assists across 38 minutes during Tuesday's 144-139 overtime loss to the Nuggets.
The fourth-year guard continues to fill up the bucket. Thomas has scored at least 24 points in four straight games to begin the season, and he's seeing incredible shot volume so far -- he's averaging 21.8 field-goal attempts per game, tied for sixth in the NBA with Cade Cunningham, and Thomas' 7.3 FT attempts a contest also puts him in the top 20 in the league. As long as Thomas is seeing elite usage, a career-best campaign should follow.

Nets' Cam Thomas: Game-high 32 points Sunday
Thomas chipped in 32 points (10-21 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 10-11 FT), five rebounds, two assists and two steals over 35 minutes during Sunday's 115-102 win over the Bucks.
Thomas led both teams in scoring Sunday, and while he struggled with his efficiency from beyond the arc, he did manage to get to the line for a team-high 11 free-throw attempts. Thomas has attempted 20 or more field-goal attempts in two of the first three games of the regular season, and over that span he's averaging 30.7 points on 47.7 percent shooting (including 46.2 percent from three on 8.2 3PA/G), 5.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.7 steals across 34.7 minutes per game.

Nets' Cam Thomas: Leads all scorers in loss
Thomas produced 36 points (14-27 FG, 7-13 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, three assists and three steals across 34 minutes during Wednesday's 120-116 loss to the Hawks.
Thomas hit the ground running in the season-opener, landing a game-high 36 points. After a modest start to the game, Thomas caught fire late, pouring in 20 points in the fourth quarter. On a Nets team lacking offensive punch, Thomas is poised to shoulder the bulk of the scoring load. If you drafted him in the middle rounds, you have to be thrilled with his initial output.

Nets' Cam Thomas: Delivers team-high 17 points
Thomas notched 17 points (5-13 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 5-8 FT), a rebound, two assists and a steal across 28 minutes in Wednesday's 117-95 preseason loss to the 76ers.
Thomas wasn't as efficient as he's been in other preseason contests, but nonetheless, he continues to show he's ready for the start of the regular season. One of the most prolific pure scorers in The Association, Thomas will be the Nets' primary offensive weapon and should hover around the 20-point mark in most games. He's coming off a 2023-24 season in which he averaged a career-high 22.5 points per contest.

Nets' Cam Thomas: Looks ready for regular season
Thomas collected 17 points (7-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal in 24 minutes during Monday's 131-92 preseason win over the Wizards.
Thomas scored with efficiency on the way to a team-high 17 points, and he's now 4-for-8 from distance over his last two preseason matchups. The 23-year-old guard appears locked in ahead of the 2024-25 campaign and should have every opportunity to erupt as one of the top contributors on this Nets squad. Thomas will have a few more opportunities to get work in during the preseason Wednesday in Philly and Friday against the Raptors.

Nets' Cam Thomas: Plays 17 minutes in preseason loss
Thomas tallied 12 points (3-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two assists, a rebound and a steal across 17 minutes during Tuesday's 115-106 loss to the Clippers.
As is customary with most preseason games, Thomas and the rest of the first unit played sparingly. Tuesday's starting five was not a good representation of the eventual first unit as Nic Claxton (hamstring) was held out of the contest, but we did catch a glimpse of what the backcourt might look like. While Thomas is entrenched in his role at the off-guard slot, Dennis Schroder and Ben Simmons appear to be locked in battle for the other backcourt position. Claxton's absence resulted in a small-ball setup where Schroder and Simmons played alongside each other, but it will be interesting to see how both are utilized moving forward. Regardless of how things shake down, Thomas' role will be largely unaffected, and he should continue as one of the team's top producers.

Nets' Cam Thomas: Scores team-high 18 in finale
Thomas supplied 18 points (5-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds and two assists over 27 minutes during Sunday's 107-86 loss to the 76ers.
Thomas leading the team in scoring despite a 21-point defeat is emblematic of Brooklyn's 2023-24 campaign. While Thomas' 55.4 true-shooting percentage isn't exactly worthy of being an offensive engine, his tough-shot making and ability to get buckets versus all types of defenders has solidified him as a top isolation scorer of the next generation. Thomas ascended to career-high marks of 5.0 free-throw attempts and 6.0 three-point attempts per game this season, creating true multi-level productivity to help balance his scoring diet.

Thomas accumulated 41 points (15-26 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 7-7 FT), one rebound and six assists over 37 minutes during Friday's 111-107 loss to the Knicks.
Thomas has been the Nets' most reliable fantasy contributor all season long, and he's established himself as one of the best scoring guards in The Association despite playing for a struggling team that failed to reach the postseason. This was Thomas' fourth game with at least 40 points this season, and he heads into the regular-season finale with averages of 25.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game since the All-Star break.

The Nets were eliminated from the postseason a few days ago, and the injury-depleted team played like it Sunday. Thomas still scored more than 20 points for the seventh straight game since missing a contest due to a sore back, and he's averaged 28.3 points, 3.9 boards, 3.7 assists and 2.6 threes over that stretch.

Thomas chipped in 32 points (10-25 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 10-11 FT), six rebounds, five assists and one steal across 39 minutes during Saturday's 113-103 victory over Detroit.
Thomas wasn't efficient as a shooter and needed 25 shots to score 32 points, but his high volume resulted in an impressive stat line. Thomas has been one of Brooklyn's most consistent scoring options all season, and this was his 14th game of the campaign with 30 or more points.

Nets' Cam Thomas: Listed as questionable
Thomas (back) is questionable for Wednesday's game against Washington, Evan Barnes of Newsday reports.
Thomas is at risk of missing his second consecutive game due to back soreness. It's unclear if a specific incident occurred or if Thomas is dealing with a mere flare-up after being a late scratch from Monday's lineup, but his workload -- 36.5 minutes and 18.0 shots per game across his last six contests -- has been taxing of late. While Thomas' status is undetermined, Brooklyn's core rotation will be without Dennis Smith (hip) and Cameron Johnson (toe) on Wednesday.
