Dorell Wright: Signs with Lokomotiv
Wright signed a one-year deal with Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar of Russia on Friday, Sportando reports.
Wright, who spent 11 seasons in the NBA, averaged 11.6 points in EuroLeague competition for Brose Bamberg last season. His role is expected to be similar with Lokomotiv as a sturdy presence in the frontcourt.

Clippers' Dorell Wright: Waived by Clippers
Wright was waived by the Clippers on Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.
The veteran signed a non-guaranteed deal with the Clippers last month, so it's rather unsurprising that he was cut by the team. Wright, 30, began last season in the Chinese Basketball Association before joining the Heat in April, and he may have to head overseas again if he's unable to find another NBA team interested in his services.

Clippers' Dorell Wright: Inks training camp deal with Clippers
Wright signed a training camp contract with the Clippers on Thursday, Dan Woike of Orange County Register reports.
Wright opened last season with the Beikong Fly Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association before latching on with the Heat in April after the CBA campaign concluded. While he didn't log any appearances in the regular season for the Heat, he made five appearances in the postseason, averaging 3.8 minutes per contest. Since the Clippers already have 15 guaranteed contracts on the books, it's unlikely that the 30-year-old will crack the roster out of training camp. He may be forced to continue his career overseas once camp draws to a close.

Heat's Dorell Wright: Doesn't play in Game 1 win
Wright (coach's decision) didn't play in Tuesday's 102-96 overtime win over the Raptors in Game 1 of the series.
Wright signed with the Heat just one day before the regular season concluded, which hasn't provided him with much time to establish himself as a rotation member. He'll likely only see the floor in blowout games throughout the playoffs.

Heat's Dorell Wright: Will be available Tuesday
Wright will be available for Tuesday's game against the Pistons, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Though Wright officially joined the team only earlier in the day, he'll likely find a small role off the bench Tuesday with Justise Winslow sitting out. If the Heat opt to rest any regulars for Wednesday's regular season finale, Wright could be set for increased minutes.

Heat's Dorell Wright: Signs with Heat
Wright officially signed with the Heat on Tuesday.
Wright had been awaiting clearance from FIBA after returning from China, but all the proper paperwork is now in place, and he'll join the Heat in Detroit for Tuesday's game against the Pistons. Considering he hasn't had much time to practice with the team, Wright is unlikely to make much of an impact over the final two games of the regular season, but he could be relied upon as a key three-point shooter in limited minutes off the bench during the playoffs.

Dorell Wright: Awaiting FIBA clearance
Wright has joined the Heat, but is still awaiting FIBA clearance before signing with the team, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
This is standard procedure for players coming over from China, and Wright figures to be cleared in short order. It's unclear if the veteran will play Tuesday against the Pistons or in Wednesday's regular-season finale against the Celtics, but assuming Wright is cleared before the end of the week, he figures to be available off the bench when the playoffs begin. Wright, who just finished off a season with the Chongqing Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association, is playoff eligible since he hasn't played with another NBA team after March 1. The 30-year-old spent last season with Trail Blazers and previously played with the Heat from 2004-10.

Dorell Wright: Closing in on deal with Heat
Wright is nearing agreement on a contract with the Heat, Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald reports.
Wright, an 11-year NBA veteran, recently finished up his season with the Chongqing Dragons of China, for whom he averaged 24.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists while shooting 50.9 percent from the field. The Heat currently have two open roster spots and have been playing the last several weeks with only 11 active players while Chris Bosh (blood clots in calf) and Tyler Johnson (shoulder) have been sidelined. Assuming the two sides are able to come to terms on a deal, the 6-foot-9 Wright should provide the team with some depth on the wing while giving the Heat a three-point weapon off the bench.
