2023 NFL free agency and trade tracker, live updates: Latest rumors, signings and moves throughout Week 2

We are about two weeks through NFL free agency with all the offseason moves and trades it brings, but there is still plenty to figure out. When will the Aaron Rodgers trade officially happen? Is Odell Beckham Jr. close to signing with a new club? And when will a potential suitor approach Lamar Jackson? We also have to keep an eye on DeAndre Hopkins, as the Arizona Cardinals wideout is expected to be traded sometime this offseason.

Maybe the big wave of signings has come and gone, but with the draft right around the corner, all 32 teams are continuing to explore the market to fill out rosters for the summer. There are still plenty of intriguing players out there looking for new deals.

As we continue to follow along on this Friday, here's a rundown of what you need to know:

We've got you covered during this free agent period. In our live blog below, you'll see every important rumor and signing that goes down over this stretch.

With Allen Lazard reportedly headed to the Jets at $11M per year, how much longer until we learn Aaron Rodgers' fate? Tough to think Lazard wouldn't re-up with Green Bay if he knew Rodgers was staying put. Then again, the Packers could've been ready to move on regardless thanks to Christian Watson's emergence.

Commanders cut J.D. McKissic. He should be a decent low-cost option for a team in need of pass-catching RB help.

It's a weak wide receiver market in free agency so the Giants went out and got a big-time tight end for Daniel Jones. They will probably look to the draft for a No. 1 WR or maybe a reunion with OBJ if the price is right.

CBS Sports NFL Insider Jonathan Jones confirms that the Giants are sending the No. 100 overall pick at the 2023 NFL Draft to the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for tight end Darren Waller. New York adds a high-ceiling tight end option for Daniel Jones. Health is going to be the main concern for Waller as the 30-year-old was limited to nine games last year. That said, if he can come close to the Pro Bowl-caliber production we saw in 2020 this is a major addition for the Giants.

Michael Thomas' restructured contract to remain with the Saints is for one year and is reportedly worth up to $15 million if he reaches his incentives. The two sides needed to get a deal done before March 17 or else Thomas would likely have been released so the Saints could avoid owing him a $31.7 million roster bonus. Thomas has played in just 10 games over the last three seasons, but if he can remain healthy he'll be a solid weapon for Derek Carr along with second-year WR Chris Olave.

ESPN reports the Texans are signing former Cowboys WR Noah Brown. Had a career year in 2022, and staying in the state of Texas.

ESPN reports that the Jets are also targeting Randall Cobb in addition to Allen Lazard. A clear play to seduce Rodgers, as Cobb is one of his close friends. When will his decision come?
