In the battle for backup QB behind Michael Vick, third-year man Mike Kafka looked much sharper than five-year veteran Trent Edwards, who had problems with his accuracy as he learns a new system with a new team. Kafka also got more reps than Edwards, which indicates he’s ahead of him on the depth chart.
