The good: Even without a first-round pick because of the Julio Jones deal last year, Atlanta found first-round talent in C Peter Konz, who will play guard as well. The bad: OT Lamar Holmes was a big reach for GM Thomas Dimitroff. Holmes seems to have an edge to him, which the Falcons’ line could use, but there was better OT talent available here. The bottom line: Atlanta did very well picking up Konz, and DE Jonathan Massaquoi could eventually grow into the quarterback hunter the team desperately needs as DE John Abraham edges close to retirement. But the reach to get Holmes and the non-sexy depth fillers towards the end could keep the 2012 draft from being special. Grade: C
