TE Jake Ballard (ACL) was waived after failing a physical, but he believes he’ll clear waivers and return to the Giants. “Thanks for love everyone but don't worry, its a business, I'm on the road to recovery, and I believe I'll be in a Giants uniform in '13,” he wrote on his Twitter account. Ballard had surgery to repair a torn ACL and microfracture surgery, so he seems to be shooting for a 2013 return.
