The Bears have released safety Brock Vereen, per Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune.
A fourth-round selection in the 2014 NFL Draft, Vereen struggled in his four starts last season, then barely played through the first three weeks this year. Despite his draft status, he might have to wait until next year to get a shot with another team.
