The Bears have remained almost injury-free through the early part of camp and have two practices before a Friday night Family Fest practice at Soldier Field. Last year they all went to the stadium and then returned to Bourbonnais when the field condition was deemed too hazardous for play.
Who’s here: DT Brian Price has sat out the required number of padded practices and is allowed to participate after being acquired in a deal with Tampa Bay for what is likely a seventh-round draft pick. Although his talent should rate him a good shot of earning extensive playing time, he's well behind the group as his spotty first day of practice showed.
Who’s not: With WR Johnny Knox on preseason PUP, the only other player missing practices is LB Adrien Cole, an undrafted free agent. The Bears have given no explanation for his injury. Devin Hester missed a practice in Week 1 with a slight ankle injury but is fully recovered, and an injury scare to Brandon Marshall in Week 1 proved nothing of concern.
