Bears vs. Broncos updates: Live NFL game scores, results for Sunday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Bears vs. Broncos football game
The Bears are on an eight-game streak of home losses, the Broncos a six-game streak of away losses, but someone’s luck is about to change. The Chicago Bears will take on the Denver Broncos at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday. The Bears are expected to lose this one by three points, so we'll see if that gives them a bit of motivation.
Chicago traveled a rocky road last season, and unfortunately for them the road hasn't gotten any smoother. They were pulverized by the Chiefs 41-10 on Sunday. Chicago was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-0.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, the Bears had trouble moving the ball and finished the game with only 203 total yards. They were demolished by their opponents in that department as the Chiefs gained 456.
Meanwhile, it's going to take some time for the Broncos to recover from the brutal 70-20 bruising that the Dolphins dished out on Sunday.
The losing side was boosted by Russell Wilson, who threw for 306 yards and a touchdown.
The losses dropped both teams to an identical 0-3.
Not only did the Broncos and the Bears lose their last games, neither team covered either. Looking ahead, the contest is expected to be close, with the Broncos going off as just a 3-point favorite. Anyone thinking of taking the Bears against the spread should keep this in mind: the team hasn't covered the last three times they've played the Broncos.
