WR Nate Burleson admitted Tuesday that the offseason discipline issues surrounding Detroit’s 2011 draft class have affected the franchise’s reputation, but he says Detroit’s veterans must help the team's young players learn from their mistakes. “(Veterans have) to continue to encourage (young players), and help them realize that the opportunity to do something special is right here,” Burleson said “I’ve been in the NFL 10 years, and I’ve only been on two or three championship-caliber teams. This is one of them, so we've got to talk to those guys and remind them what the ultimate goal is.”
