WR Nate Burleson, who has become a respected locker-room leader in Detroit, says he will meet with DT Nick Fairley, RB Mikel Leshoure and OT Johnny Culbreath to discuss their offseason marijuana-related incidents. Burleson told the Detroit Free Press he hopes the discussion will illustrate the importance of avoiding off-field trouble to the second-year players. “As a young guy in the league, you’re going to make those mistakes,” he said. “Hopefully this is just one thing that happens and doesn’t happen again for a lot of these guys.”
