T Jermon Bushrod said the Saints didn’t approach him for a contract extension during the offseason as he enters the final year of his deal. Bushrod signed a two-year deal leading up to the 2011 season and he made his first Pro Bowl last season. The Saints reworked the contracts of several players and extended CB Jabari Greer's deal seemingly to make room for QB Drew Brees.
