Here are some Cardinals links from outlets that regularly cover the team:

  • Arizona's offensive line worries have the team playing a different game as the season-opener nears, Craig Morgan of FSArizona.com wrote. The loss of starting left tackle Levi Brown has Cardinal coaches tinkering and mixing, with varied results. The uncertainty has the front office on high-alert for final roster cuts, and head coach Ken Whisenhunt said, "If there’s a way to get better, we’ll certainly look at (signing another lineman)."

  • Safety Rashad Johnson missed Monday's practice with an abdomen muscle injury, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reported. The 5-foot-11, 204-pound fourth-year player out of Alabama -- a sound contrast to 6-3, 230-pound starter Adrian Wilson -- is still expected to play, though he was not in pads on Monday.

  • Leading the NFL in rushing yards this preseason, Cardinals running back William Powell is starting to open some eyes -- and get some votes, Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com wrote.

  • Offensive lineman Daryn Colledge got some work in at left tackle on Monday, Somers reported. Colledge, who is a regular at left guard, played minimally at tackle for the Packers, who drafted him in the second round in 2006. He told Somers he's a "contingency plan" for tackle.
