With a patchwork offensive line showing its wear, the Cardinals are looking outside. Former Chicago first-round pick, offensive lineman Chris Williams, is considering Arizona after being released by the Bears, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reported. Williams, who is also considering the Philadelphia Eagles, could help bolster a unit that has surrendered 23 sacks in three games.
John Skelton is back working out the rust, but even oil might not help his wheels too much, he admits. Skelton resumes his role as starting quarterback this week against Minnesota, Craig Morgan of Fox Sports Arizona writes, and he knows the pressure he'll be under.
