One of the more interesting pre-training camp position battles appears to be at DB. FA signee Haruki Nakamura worked with the first team during Thursday’s minicamp finale alongside incumbent Charles Godfrey. Last year’s embattled starter, Sharrod Martin, was often criticized for missing open-field tackles. Rookie CB Josh Norman lined up with the second team, behind CB Captain Munnerlyn.
