The Chargers announced Monday that defensive lineman Tenny Palepoi, who played in all 16 games as a rookie, is out for the season with a fractured foot, per the team.
Palepoi was placed on the Reserved-Injured list, effectively ending his season. The undrafted player from Utah was one of the Chargers' biggest surprises last season, registering four tackles for loss last season.
"He's made the most out of every single opportunity he's had," Chargers coach Mike McCoy said. "He had an outstanding year last year, and it sucks to be honest with you."
