The Lions have waived cornerback Chris Greenwood and wide receiver Corey Fuller, the Detroit Free Press is reporting. Both were low-round draft picks selected by the team in the last two years.
The injury plagued Greenwood played in just two games this preseason and was burned deep for a touchdown Thursday against the Bills. Fuller caught just one pass for six yards in the preseason. Both could be added to the practice squad if they clear waivers.
The Lions also cut linebacker Jon Morgan and offensive linemen Darren Keyton and Kevin Haslam. They have waived/injured safety Martavius Neloms (foot).
