The Indianapolis Colts are finally getting healthy -- well, most of them. Outside linebacker Dwight Freeney (ankle) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, so it would appear that he will be a go Sunday when the Packers visit. Inside linebacker Pat Angerer (foot) was limited in practice, but it's a good sign that he was able to get any work in at all. In fact, Angerer is hoping to get on the field Sunday.

“Yeah, that’s the plan," he said. "The big thing we’ll see is how [the foot] is the next day. Today will be the big day with practicing and then we’ll see how sore I am.”

Cornerbacks Justin King (groin) and Vontae Davis (ankle), however, did not practice Wednesday. The Colts secondary is already shaky, so, with Aaron Rodgers coming to town, this is certainly not the week to plug in backups.

"We’re going to be day-to-day with them," interim head coach Bruce Arians said Wednesday. "They’re progressing nicely, they’re close. It’ll be a day-to-day thing and we’ll see how they go.”

Cassius Vaughn is in line to start if Davis can't go Sunday.

On offense, guards Joe Reitz (knee) and Seth Olsen (knee) both missed practice, and center Samson Satele (knee) was a limited participant.

Roles maintained on coaching staff: With the news that coach Chuck Pagano would miss several weeks while being treated for leukemia, there was much discussion about roles within the coaching staff -- but Arians said Wednesday that not much would change. When asked how much tape of the Green Bay offense he'd seen, Arians responded: “Five minutes. We’ve got a defensive staff for that."

The next ... Aaron Rodgers? Rookie quarterback Andrew Luck has drawn his fair share of comparisons in his young career. Mostly, of course, to long time Colt Peyton Manning. But there was another one added Wednesday. Sunday's opponent, Aaron Rodgers.

"I think they’re very similar in a lot of ways," Arians said. "Their size, athleticism. They’re very similar. It’s a good comparison."

What does Luck think of it all?

“I think I’ve got a long way to go to be compared to Aaron Rodgers," Luck said.
