The Indianapolis Colts were short-handed at wide receiver in their opening loss to the Chicago Bears, but coach Chuck Pagano said Wednesday both Austin Collie (concussions) and rookie T.Y. Hilton (shoulder) will play Sunday against Minnesota.
More important, perhaps, is the status of linebacker Dwight Freeney, who left Sunday's game with a sprained ankle. Pagano said officially that he is day-to-day, but Indianapolis Star columnist Bob Kravitz suggested that Freeney could miss Sunday's game, and beyond.
I'm hearing through the grapevine Freeney has a high ankle, out a couple of weeks. We'll get confirmation from Pagano in a few minutes.

Certainly an update on Freeney's status will come later in the week.
Roster moves: The Colts front office made a few roster moves, mostly concerning the offensive line. Indianapolis waived center A.Q. Shipley and offensive tackle Mike Person and added offensive guard Trai Essex, who spent seven seasons in Pittsburgh. The Colts also added offensive tackle Bradley Sowell from the Buccaneers' practice squad and moved Shipley to their practice squad. The Colts waived wide receiver Kashif Moore.
