New Rams guard Davin Joseph is 30 and coming off a disappointing season. A 2012 knee injury and a 2013 staph infection made him less effective than normal.

But the two-time Pro Bowler, who's not projected as a starter, told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch he feels he's got "a lot left."

"I feel like I can contribute to this team," he said. "I don’t know how big or how small my role will be. But I feel like I can contribute. So if it’s just coming out here and really working to make the guys better, that’s my job. And I’ll do it the best that I can.

"My confidence is high. Sometimes you’re faced with challenges for a reason, right? So I’m pretty sure there’s a reason why I’ve had to go through what I’ve had to go through for the last couple years to get to this point today."
