The Dolphins announced two roster moves on Monday which put them at the NFL roster limit of 75. The team reached the mark by releasing receiver Julius Pruitt and putting rookie safety Kelcie McCray (broken foot) on injured reserve.
Pruitt, who was activated from the practice squad last season, appeared in nine games and was one of Miami’s top special teams players. However, the four-year veteran made few strides in his pass-catching or route running abilities, earning him a spot on the waiver wire.
The Dolphins must make 22 more cuts to make it down to the 53-man limit by the Aug. 31 deadline.
Notable cuts: CB Jonathan Wade (fifth year, third round, Tennessee) -- Wade was a top reserve last season, and he has amassed 111 tackles and two interceptions in his career. However, he had a miserable training camp and was burned for a pair of touchdowns in a 23-6 preseason loss to the Falcons last week, sealing his fate.

Other moves: RB Jonas Gray (rookie, undrafted Notre Dame) was assigned to the PUP list; McCray (rookie, undrafted, Arkansas State) was put on injured reserve.
