The Chargers signed former USD TE-FB Patrick Doyle to a three-year contract late Tuesday afternoon. It is not immediately clear if San Diego has plans for Doyle at FB or TE. The Chargers already had six TEs on their roster prior to signing Doyle. However, Brad Taylor and Ladarius Green (round four, 110th overall pick), are the only two with practice squad (PS) eligibility. Taylor, who was on the PS last season, limped off the field at the end of practice on Thursday. He was clearly angered by the injury and did not participate in OTAs on Tuesday.
