With five catches for 77 yards and a touchdown Week 8 at Arizona, wide receiver Drew Davis emerged as the clear No. 2 behind Harry Douglas in the Falcons' remade receiving corps, which could mean big things for him in Fantasy as long as that receiving corps remains depleted by injuries.
But with Roddy White working his way back from hamstring and ankle problems, that may not be the case Week 9 at Carolina. And even if it is, the matchup won't be as kind this time around. The Panthers rank ninth against the pass, surrendering 222.1 yards per game, and have given up just six touchdowns through the air all season. They've allowed the fifth-fewest Fantasy points per game to wide receivers.
In a week with six teams on bye, you could do worse than Drew as a stopgap off the waiver wire, but understand that he might have a hard time repeating last week's numbers, particularly if White returns.
