It's been an ugly past two weeks for LeSean McCoy and now, it's slowly turning into an ugly past three weeks.
During the first quarter of Philadelphia's game against St. Louis, McCoy caught a screen pass from Nick Foles and what happened afterward wasn't pretty. Even though the Eagles running back was immediately surrounded by at least five Rams defensive players, McCoy still tried to make something happen.
What ended up happening though was this: McCoy ran backwards six yards, then fumbled the ball, which the Rams recovered (GIF via @CJZero). Running backwards sometimes works in 'Madden,' it rarely works in real life.
It's been an ugly season for McCoy's fantasy owners. Over the past two weeks McCoy has only ran for a total of 39 yards. Through one quarter against the Rams, McCoy has six rushing yards and negative-3 receiving yards, along with the lost fumble.
Maybe it's time to trade him for Larry Donnell?
