According to Ed Reed's birth certificate, he was born Sept. 11, 1978. To celebrate the big 3-5, Texans teammate Danieal Manning presented Reed with a platinum walker.

Because, you know, Reed is currently nursing a hip injury, and he looks like aunt Esther's husband, Woody. (We're not kidding. And maybe Reed is uncle Woody, which would make him a more believable 84 years old.)

Meanwhile, there's still no word on when Reed will be cleared to return to the field.
