Exactly a year ago, IK Enemkpali decided to punch Geno Smith in the Jets' locker room, which ended Enemkpali's tenure with the Jets and Smith's job as the starting quarterback. Enemkpali latched onto the Bills, where he still resides, and Smith was relegated to the bench, where he still finds himself today.
So, on Thursday, to celebrate the anniversary of the punch heard around the league, Enemkpali did something, well, fitting. He got into a fight with one of his teammates that may or may not have involved Enemkpali throwing a punch.
This is not a joke:
IK Enemkpali and Cyrus Kouandjio scrapping. Hard to see if any punches were thrown. They fell on the ground grappling each other.

Exactly one year after IK Enemkpali's infamous punch, he just took a swing at Cyrus Kouandjio and has a scrap.

In case you're wondering, Smith still isn't happy about losing his job last August. Speaking with ESPN.com's Rich Cimini, Smith had this to say:
"Every day I'm pissed off until I get my job back. Until I'm a starting quarterback, I'm pissed off every day. That's my mentality, that's my competitive nature. I want to win so badly, deep inside of me. I'm not pissed off at anyone, but I do believe I'm a starting quarterback in this league, and I believe I can do great things."
Smith is stuck behind Ryan Fitzpatrick on the depth chart, but if he can somehow steal away the starting job by Week 2, he might end up meeting Enemkpali on the field when the Bills host the Jets.
