Chris Johnson of the Titans should have a big season in 2012.
As bad as things appeared in 2011, Johnson still managed to finish 1,465 total yards last year. That's a bad year for Johnson, but a great year for most NFL running backs.
Interesting, though, is that in the only five games when Johnson was given 20-plus carries last season, he put up his normal big numbers.
In those five games he had 120 carries (24 per game) for 626 yards (125 yards per game) and he also had 11 receptions (2.2 per game) for 74 yards (14.8 yards per game).
In 2012, I expect Johnson to have 10 games with 20-plus rushing attempts, which (using last season as a guide) extrpolates to a 1,400-yard rushing season and another 250 yards receiving.
Expect a rebound from Chris Johnson, who wasn't as bad as you think in 2011
