Jonathan Massaquoi is the latest to feel the change in direction of the Falcons' new coaching staff.
On Friday, the Falcons announced that the defensive end has been waived. Under previous coach Mike Smith, Massaquoi was a fifth-round selection out of Troy in the 2012 NFL draft. Smith was fired this offseason with former Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn hired as his replacement.
Massaquoi totaled 22 tackles and two sacks this past season. This announcement follows the Falcons cutting running back Steven Jackson and receiver Harry Douglas.
