Among the 38 players taking part in the team’s weekend mini-camp are five players who spent time with the Chiefs last year. Most of the time they were on the team’s practice squad. The group included last year’s seventh-round draft choice FB Shane Bannon along with RB Shaun Draughn, C/G Rob Bruggeman, G/T Luke Patterson and WR Jamar Newsome.
