Saturday NFL betting preview

If you had bet on either of the No. 1 seeds to finish with the best records in their respective conference entering the season, you'd have a nice boost to your bankroll entering the 2026 NFL playoffs. Neither the Broncos nor Seahawks were many sports bettors' picks to secure the first-round byes and the top seeds in their conference, but behind elite defenses and steady enough offensive production, they have homefield advantage through the Super Bowl. Seattle's offense has kept pace with its defensive dominance, ranking second in both scoring offense (28.4 points per game) and scoring defense (17.2 ppg), entering its third matchup of the season against the 49ers. The two opened and closed the regular season against one another, with the road team winning each time. The 49ers won, 17-13, in Seattle in Week 1, and the Seahawks won, 13-3, in Week 18 in San Francisco. The 49ers have the No. 10 scoring offense at 25.6 ppg. 

The Broncos and Bills meet for the first time this season, but the Bills knocked Denver out of the playoffs last year. That was an entirely different situation, though, as the Bills hosted the Broncos in Wild Card Weekend after having three more wins than Denver during the regular season. The Bills won, 31-7. But this time, Denver hosts as the No. 1 seed, with the Bills as the No. 6 seed and having two fewer wins than Denver during the regular season. Josh Allen threw for 272 yards and two touchdowns while James Cook had 120 rushing yards and a score in last January's meeting in Buffalo.

For Saturday NFL betting, the Bills and Broncos both have -110 odds on the money line to win in the latest Saturday NFL odds at Fanatics Sportsbook. The over/under is 46.5 points.
