Bears vs. Packers betting preview
The Chicago Bears won their first NFC North title since 2018 this year, earning at least one home game in the NFL postseason after going 11-6 and capturing the No. 2 seed in the NFC. They will face a familiar opponent for their first playoff game in the Ben Johnson era, going up against the Packers, who went 9-7-1 this year. The Bears struggled against the NFC North this season, going 2-4 in the division while the Packers went 4-2 in the North, but these two teams split their regular-season contests.
The Bears started and ended their regular season with four losses, with a stretch of 11-2 in the middle in an 11-6 season. Caleb Williams threw for 3,942 yards with 27 touchdowns with seven interceptions in Johnson's offense. The Packers had one of the best defenses in the NFL the majority of the season, but they closed the regular season with four straight losses, starting from the game where star defensive end Micah Parsons tore his ACL. Green Bay has postseason experience though, playing in its sixth playoff in Matt LaFleur's seven years as Packers head coach.
The Packers are 1.5-point favorites in the latest Bears vs. Packers odds at Fanatics Sportsbook, with an over/under set at 45.5 points. Click here to get started:
