The most Jets thing to ever Jets the Jets occurred on Tuesday when quarterback Geno Smith was sucker punched by (ex)-teammate IK Enemkpali.
Michael Vick offered up support to Geno.

You were most certainly sitting there wondering what Beanie Wells was thinking.
Makes me wonder if those Qbs have gained respect in the locker room. No way you see a Peyton manning,Russel Wilson,Tom Brady fighting

Graham Gano's got some pretty good jokes and an indication of how hot it is at Panthers training camp in Spartanburg, S.C.
In other news, I lost 5 pounds at practice today. #KickersArePeopleToo

Our own London Fletcher makes a good point about what a bad teammate you've got to be in order to punch a quarterback.
The QB is too important to the team to get in a fight with. #NotSmart

Smith also got a shoutout from fellow West Virginia alum Pat White.
@GenoSmith7 just know that @kanyewest came back stronger. #thruthewire

Of course, not that you need ME to explain the cultural reference of what White is saying but ...
(*furiously Googles "Thru the Wire"*)
That's a song Kanye recorded after having his jaw wired shut during a car accident. It was his debut single on his debut album "The College Dropout."
Unfortunately for Geno, this wasn't about his rookie season. His was about a make-or-break year where he was potentially set up to come in and take a jump to the level of competent starting quarterback in the NFL.
Now that jump -- if it even happens -- will have to wait.
The sad part is maybe we should've seen this all coming.
