The Broncos waived wide receiver Gerell Robinson on Friday, according to the Denver Post. The move likely means that Tavarres King will be the team's No. 5 wide receiver.
Robinson made a strong case to remain with the team as he caught five passes for 99 yards and a touchdown in the preseason finale against the Cardinals on Thursday. He finished preseason with seven catches for 111 yards and a touchdown in three games.
