The Denver Broncos and the New York Giants will face off at 4:25 p.m. ET Sept. 12 at MetLife Stadium to kick off their 2021 seasons. Denver struggled last year, ending up 5-11. Likewise, last year was nothing to brag about for New York (6-10), either, so the team is looking forward to a new start.

A couple numbers to keep in mind before kickoff: The Broncos were second best in passing touchdowns allowed, finishing the 2020 season giving up only 21. Less enviably, New York ranked second worst with respect to passing touchdowns last season, where the squad accrued only 12. New York fans had better hope their team can run the ball.

The neutral point spread forecasts a close one for these two. We'll see if the game is as close as the oddsmakers expect or if one of these teams has a surprise blowout in them.
