Giants vs. Raiders: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Sunday's NFL game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Giants vs. Raiders football game
The Las Vegas Raiders have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will square off against the New York Giants at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday at MetLife Stadium. The Raiders will be strutting in after a win while New York will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Las Vegas had a touchdown and change to spare in a 33-22 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles two weeks ago. No one had a standout game offensively for Las Vegas, but they got scores from a handful of players including TE Foster Moreau, WR Bryan Edwards, and RB Josh Jacobs.
Meanwhile, New York was hampered by 83 penalty yards against the Kansas City Chiefs this past Monday. It was close but no cigar for New York as they fell 20-17 to Kansas City. Like the Raiders, the Giants didn't have any clear offensive standouts, but they got scores from TE Evan Engram and TE Kyle Rudolph. QB Daniel Jones ended up with a passer rating of 141.40.
This next contest is expected to be close, with Las Vegas going off at just a 3-point favorite. They are currently two-for-two against the spread in their most recent games, a trend bettors might want to take into account.
Las Vegas' win brought them up to 5-2 while New York's loss pulled them down to 2-6. A couple offensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: The Raiders rank second in the league when it comes to passing yards per game, with 324.1 on average. Less enviably, New York is stumbling into the matchup with the fifth fewest overall offensive touchdowns in the NFL, having accrued only 15 on the season. So the cards are definitely stacked against the Giants.
