Betting on Week 16 of the 2025 NFL season

They are one game ahead of New England in the race for the top seed in the AFC and have a two-game lead over the Chargers in the AFC West. Jacksonville is on a five-game winning streak, but three of those wins came against some of the league's worst teams. The model expects Denver to extend its hot streak, as the Broncos cover the spread 56% of the time. 

Over 37.5 in Texans vs. Raiders

This game is tied for the lowest total of the week, but the model thinks it has been set too low. Houston is coming off one of its best offensive performances of the season, racking up 40 points in a blowout win over the Cardinals. Quarterback C.J. Stroud had 260 passing yards and three touchdowns, while running back Jawhar Jordan had 101 rushing yards in the first action of his NFL career. The Raiders gave up 31 points to the Eagles last week and are allowing the eighth-most points per game in the NFL. Houston is scoring nearly 30 points in the model's latest simulations, helping the Over cash 64% of the time.
