One reason the Chiefs signed a trio of free-agent defensive backs in February is the status of SS Eric Berry and FS Kendrick Lewis. The 2010 starters are coming back from injuries that required surgery, Berry to his left knee and Lewis to his right shoulder. Both will have to be watched in the first days of on-field work.
