With the fifth pick in the first round, the Jaguars selected wide receiver Justin Blackmon out of Oklahoma State. Blackmon, widely regarded as the best wideout in the draft, immediately upgrades the Jags' passing game. While not a burner, Blackmon is a big-play threat.

More details via CBSSports.com's scouting report:

"Blackmon replaced (Dez) Bryant with a flourish in 2010, catching 111 passes for 1,782 yards, breaking Larry Fitzgerald's record for sophomores, and 20 touchdowns. He set an NCAA record with at least 100 yards and one touchdown in all 12 games in a season. Blackmon then added 122 catches, 1,522 yards and 18 touchdowns last season. He was devastating in the big games, grabbing five for 157, two touchdowns in the 2011 Alamo Bowl against Nebraska's Prince Amukamara (now with N. Y. Giants) and then finishing his college career with eight catches, 182 yards and touchdowns of 43, 67 and 17 yards in a 41-38 overtime win over Stanford in the 2012 Fiesta Bowl."

Blackmon would rank behind last year's high-round picks, A.J. Green and Julio Jones, but he's drawn comparisons to Dwayne Bowe of the Chiefs. That would be welcome news for XX.
